Apple Tea

Ingredients
1 lb apple peel
2 tablespoons lemon juice
Directions
1Sprinkle lemon juice on peels.
2Dry the peels in a dehydrator or warm oven (150°F) on parchment paper with oven door ajar.
3They are ready when they are brittle and lightly browned.
4Crumble peelings and store in airtight container.

Iced Apple Tea

Ingredients
Iced Apple Tea
3 cups Boiling water
4 Cinnamon-apple tea bags
1 t Sugar
1 (6oz) can Frozen apple juice, undiluted
2 cups Cold water
Garnishes: green apple slices, cinnamon sticks

Preparation
Pour 3 cups boiling water over tea bags; cover and steep 5 minutes. Remove and discard bags. Stir in


sugar, juice concentrate, and 2 cups cold water. Serve over ice; garnish, if desired. Yield: ~5 cups

Hot Apple Tea Recipe

Ingredients

2 cinnamon sticks (each about 3-inches long) .
3 c apple cider .
4 tea bags (regular or decaffeinated) .
1/4 c sugar .
2 inches piece fresh ginger, peeled & thinly sliced

Directions

Step #1 Bring cider, sugar, cinnamon & ginger to boil in a medium saucepan.
Step #2 Reduce heat & let simmer 20 mins.
Step #3 Remove from heat.
Step #4 Add tea bags, cover & let steep 5 mins.
Step #5 Strain; serve hot.
